Uganda Aids Prevention and Care Organisation

UAPCO is a national organisation it covering a number of ditricts namely kampala located in the central region of uganda.Mubende district located in the boarders of the central region.Kibaale located in the western region of Uganda.Mpigi district located in the central part.The people in these areas are very poor.Whatever UAPCO does is free and no charges are levied for the services we implement in the commuinties we operate in.Below are some of our activities.
PREVENTION ACTIVITIES
(1)Radio Programmes on HIV/AIDS
(2)UAPCO sports activities such as football competitions
(3)Organisation of HIV/AIDS workshops(Churches,Schools,Mosques,Women Groups etc)
(4)Community AIDS Video show clubs for the youth.

CARE
UAPCO closely works with both government and private health units.We realised that people in Uganda frequently visit private health units because they are near to them and they offer friendly services.In up country districts we target the sub county health centres because there are no private health units.Below are the treatment centres associated with UAPCO:
